Article 1
These Measures are prescribed in accordance with Paragraph 6 of Article 11 of the Money Laundering Control Act (hereinafter referred to as “this Act”).

Article 2
These Measures are applicable to non-financial institutions or personnel designated as trustees of the trust or other legal persons other than such part.

Article 3
The identity information and basic information that shall be reported and updated as stated in Paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 11 of this Act are as follows:
1. The natural person’s name, nationality, date of birth, place of birth, place of domicile, current place of residence, National Identification Card number, and Tax Identification Number of the country of residence or equivalent information.
2. The legal person’s name, nationality, representative, address of the office or business office, and tax identification number.
3. Other relevant information used for identification.

Article 4
Trustees of non-trust Sectors shall report or update information in accordance with the method specified by the competent authority or competent authority of the target enterprise of the Sectors.
The initial reporting of information shall be completed within thirty days from the date of establishment of the trust relationship; the reporting of changes in information shall be completed within thirty days from the date of change in information.

Article 5
The trustee of non-trust sectors shall take the initiative to disclose its status in the trust when using trust property to carry out the following matters:
1. Establish business relationships with financial institutions or designated non-financial enterprises or personnel;
2. Temporary transactions with a single or cumulative transaction amount up to NT$500,000 (including equivalent foreign currency).
The disclosure required in the preceding paragraph shall be made within five business days after the establishment of the business relationship or the completion of the temporary transaction, in writing, by machine or computer processing, or other appropriate means as determined by the competent authority or the competent authority of the target enterprise, and the identity document of the trustee shall also be attached.

Article 6
These Measures shall come into force on November 30th of 2024.
