2.This Act’s Article 5 was amended and promulgated on Jun.24,2015 by the Academy for the Judiciary, Ministry of Justice.
3.The new Act’s entire 5 articles were promulgated on Apr. 23, 2021 by the Academy for the Judiciary, Ministry of Justice.; this Act’s retroactively effective from Apr. 23, 2021.
1.Information on the Academy shall be actively disclosed under Article 7 of the Freedom of Government Information Law. Upon signature and approval by the President, the competent units shall, on their own, publish, upload on the Internet, provide public browsing, hold press conferences or other means as stipulated in Article 8 of the same Law. For those who want to publish in the Academy's publication "Judicial Aspiration", the full text of the contents to be published shall be provided by the respective competent unit to the Academic Affairs Section; those that are to be published on the Academy’s website will be posted online by the handling person of each competent unit. If the information is made available in a form for public browsing, a synopsis of the content will also be posted on the website of the College by the competent unit.
2.As per the provisions of Article 9 of the Freedom of Government Information Law, if members of the public request the Academy to provide government information by mail or electronic transmission, the Secretary Office will receive the document and then send it to the Chief Secretary for review. Following its approval as per the law, the information will be sent to the unit in charge of the information to prepare the materials, and the unit will sign after the approval of the President of the Academy, and then notify the visitor to browse the information or a paper copy will be mailed or the files will be sent by electronic transmission.
3.If a member of the public applies for government information in person at the Academy, the Security Room will deliver a blank application form (as attached) for the applicant to complete and then will submit the completed application form to the Chief Secretary for approval. Upon approval as per the law, the information shall be prepared by the unit in charge of the information, which shall be signed by the said unit, following approval by the President and access to the information shall be provided on the same day. Or by browsing regularly, or by mailing a paper copy or electronic transmission of electronic files.
4.In principle, the place for people to wait to browse and implement the browsing is the archives access service area or other designated place as established, and the handling person of each unit will read the records in coordination with the security guards.
